SE/A Emergency Preparedness Task Force
Welcome to the wiki for the National Network of the Libraries of Medicine's Southeastern/Atlantic Emergency Preparedness Task Force. Here you will find background information about the charge from NN/LM to the Task Force, the task force membership list, and the report from the task force's meeting in Ocean Springs, Mississippi on February 28, 2007. The Ocean Springs report contains results of a disaster planning assessment conducted in the SE/A in 2006 among hospital and academic health sciences libraries.
We hope the site will facilitate communication among the Task Force members, and will be a good place to keep documentation that all members may need. The site is designed to be a resource for libraries in the SE/A RML, and we hope that other regions in the NN/LM can also find value in its content.
I am Susan Yowell, Project Assistant at the UVa Health Sciences Library (ssy2n@virginia.edu). I provide organizational support to the task force, and will appreciate any comments or suggestions you may have. All task force members, you can add content wherever you think it will be helpful (email me and I'll send you the password), or send me your information and I will add it. Let me know if you have questions about using the wiki.
